Jumplist Extender is a custom jump list editor that allows you to configure jump lists for any of your programs. You can add tasks that perform any action for your program automatically, through typing keyboard shortcuts, running command lines, or writing AutoHotKey scripts. Turn junky, cryptic "recent files lists," into rich, productive, time-saving jump lists!

Jumplist Extender is an open source project, released under the GNU GPLv3. Look at the features we offer, download Extender, or get support for the program!

Just clarifying a few things I found over the net. Both these sites have awesome, resourceful writers, but I wanted to respond to a couple of points:

  1. "Extender places an unnecessary startup object in the Startup folder." Actually, Extender needs the startup process due to how jump lists are designed. Without it, program windows will have separate taskbar buttons. The only other alternative is directly modifying the programs' EXE files, which is heavily discouraged.
  2. "The program is buggy when trying to save previously created jump lists." This is actually the only time I've heard this problem. Your mileage may vary, but Extender is shown to work NORMALLY on MOST computers, without this bug. If you've experienced trouble saving jump lists and you're willing to test for me, please file a bug, or email me!

Thanks for all the downloads so far! I highly appreciate it, and if you have any comments, don't hesitate to contact me through Google tracker or email.

Thanks!
-Marco
